Social Media Campaigns AIX 2017

DESCRIPTION

In early 2017 AIX requested digital production support in the creation of content for their social media channels.

Before beginning the work we met with the show to better understand their objectives, the content they wanted to create and how it would be used.

In order to drive awareness and attendance at their show, the team wanted to create engaging content for social media that communicated the value of their show and the important role it plays within the industry.

MY ROLE

In comparison to web traffic and show attendee numbers, AIX’s social media followers and engagement were comparatively small. This demonstrated the need to create a design that could engage a new audience, immediately capturing their attention and imagination.

To achieve this we identified six principles that would underpin everything we created. They had to be; simple, brave, bold, clever, attractive and witty.

The concept was intentionally different and bold, in order to stand out from past AIX designs and also content from others that it would be viewed alongside. It utilised the AIX brand colours with powerful messages and new iconography, created to be a hook from which supporting copy would provide context and encourage the desired behaviour or engagement.

The assets are created in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects.
